Brainwriting is an excellent way to give a group time to reflect on ideas and deliberately build on other thoughts. During the course, we used brainwriting to get ideas on how to improve traffic laws. I plan on using this next year when my students are fluent with brainstorming. This will be good for planning our service learning experience. I especially like this for students because even though piggy-backing off of others ideas is beneficial, with younger students, we get a lot of this. It will really help the class diverge on ideas.
